Privacy & Cookies
Botzhouse is a free browser game. There are no accounts, no ads and no data selling. This page explains exactly what is stored and how to change it.

WHAT WE STORE
Game saves. Your house, robots and progress are stored locally in your own browser (localStorage). They never leave your device and we cannot read them.
Consent choice. One small local entry remembering whether you allowed analytics.
Analytics (optional). If you press Accept, Google Analytics 4 sets cookies and records page views, referrers, approximate location (country/region level) and device type. IP anonymisation is enabled and advertising, remarketing and ad-personalisation signals stay denied.
LEGAL BASIS (GDPR)
Analytics cookies are used only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Nothing is loaded before you choose, and rejecting has no effect on the game. Strictly necessary storage — your save file and your consent choice — relies on legitimate interest and is required for the site to work.
YOUR RIGHTS
You can withdraw consent at any time using the controls above. You also have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. Because we hold no account data, the fastest route to deletion is clearing this site's data in your browser, which removes your save and consent entry.
PROCESSORS & TRANSFERS
Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.) processes analytics data on our behalf and may transfer it outside the EEA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. Embedded video is served from YouTube in no-cookie mode and only loads after you click play. Site hosting is provided by Lovable.
RETENTION
Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months. Local game saves and your consent choice stay until you clear them.
CONTACT
For any privacy request, contact the site owner through the GitHub project linked from the game repository. We answer data requests within 30 days.
